Director Keishi Otomo along with Takeru Satoh (Kenshin, Emi Takei (Kaoru) and Munetaka Aoki (Sanosuke) flew over from Japan to attend the red carpet event.

Obviously I couldn't be there so all information and photographs is taken from on-line. Photo rights belong to all respective parties.

Much to the pleasure (thankfully) of the fans who started waiting since 3pm (the event starts at 6pm), the casts were amicable enough to stop and take photos and signing requests from the waiting fans. And because of that, the red carpet walk took more than 30 minutes.

According to Philstar online, Takeru Satoh who portrays the scar faced hero started getting himself into the role 3 months before filming.

Takeru Satoh said he prepared for the role of Kenshin "swinging the katana" three months prior to the shoot of the film.
“Kumusta. Ako po si Takeru Satoh. Masaya ako makita kayo,” greets the main star of the movie, much to the delight of the fans, some of whom attended the event dressed as characters from the movie.
“I heard that Rurouni Kenshin broke the record of any Japanese film shown in the Philippines,” Takeru said through a translator. The 25-year-old actor added he can't believe “Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno” will be shown in the Philippines just a few days after the movie premiered in Japan. He further said, “I believe it is thanks to all of you." "

On a totally different note, doesn't Emi Takei looks so chic?! I love how all the cast seemed to be so fashion coordinated

The cosplayers were there too ^_^ Of course, our favourite Kenshin Cosplayer from the Philippines (Yes, talking about Jin here!) was also there as Kenshin himself!

I am SO ENVIOUS of the filipinos who got to be there! I can't wait for the movie to start screening!

Rurouni Kenshin; Kyoto Inferno will commence it's Singapore screening in Golden Village starting from 28th August 2014.
